Erica McIntyre (née Carter)- 2015

MCINTYRE, Erica (née Carter) Beloved wife of Herb, loving mother of Ashley, and honorary sons Tilo Cross and Matthew Arcand, proud grandmother of Shain. Erica is survived by her father Eric Carter (Lynne), mother Connie (Gerrit Reitsma), sisters Susan (JP) and Wendy (Cam), brother Clay (Alice), sister-in-law Linda (Gary), and honorary sister Dale. She was predeceased by her sister Marie (Rob). Erica passed away peacefully in her home after her third courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at the age of 57. She was an example of courage and grace, and her wicked sense of humour cheered us all to the very end. Erica will be sorely missed by her many friends and extended family. Thanks in particular to Marsha, Suzy, Jo-Ann, Kelly and Kevin as well as the many caregivers who eased her final journey. Family and friends may gather at Capital Funeral Home & Cemetery 3700 Prince of Wales Dr. 613-692-1211on Sunday August 2, at 11 a.m. for a celebration of her life. Eulogies will start at 11:30 a.m. The inurnment will take place at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery Beckett's Landing following the celebration of her life. Marie Lyn CARTER - 2014

CARTER, Marie Lyn, P.Eng.1961 - 2014 Marie died peacefully on Sunday evening, June 29th. She leaves behind her husband and best friend, Robert Jennings. She will be sadly missed by her parents and step- parents, Eric Carter (Lynne) and Connie Reitsma (Gerrit), her step-children Keaghan, Nathan and Hannah, her sisters Susan Carter (Jean-Paul Trudel), Wendy Overton (Cam), Erica McIntyre (Herb), her brother Randy Reitsma (Alice Seal) and her nieces, Jennifer, Melissa, Ashley and Maya. Marie lived her life to the fullest. Her passions were working with horses, coaching horseback riding and the engineering profession where she enjoyed working with the many engineers who give their time to the profession. The family will receive friends at Pinecrest Remembrance Services, 2500 Baseline Road, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday July 3rd. A private service will be held at a later date.
