Charles "Chuck" Dowsing - 2018

DOWSING, Charles "Chuck" 1931-2018 Passed away peacefully at the Edinburgh Residence in Ottawa on Monday, June 25, 2018 in his 87th year. He is survived by his loving wife Elfreide Dowsing, (Engelhardt), son Ralph (Christiane), daughter Susan (Serge) and grandchildren, Simeon, Gabriel, Fiona and Lianne. Charles was born in Carshalton, England and went on to join the British Army. He arrived in Canada in 1957 and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force. Charles spent the remainder of his career with the Department of Foreign Affairs and in retirement was an active member of the Old Foreign Affairs Retired Technicians (OFARTS). Cremation has taken place.
