LEGAULT, John Michael Peacefully in
his home on November 5, 2009 Jack Legault of Arnprior in his 68th year after a
long battle with ALS. Loving husband of 43 years to Mary Mulvihill. Cherished
father of Mark (Rhonda), Jane, and James (Lisa). Proud Bubba to Brooklyn,
Madison, Jack, David, and Alexandra. Deeply missed by his brothers Robert
(Carmel) and Raymond (Susan). Remembered always by his brother-in-law Jim
Mulvihill (Louise), sister-in-law Nan McCann (James), many nieces and nephews,
his bridge and euchre buddies, and lifelong friends. Retired diplomat from the
Department of Foreign Affairs after 38 years of service. The family would like
to give special thanks to the exceptional caregivers from the Bayshore Health
Care, St. Elizabeth Health Care and the ALS Society. In celebration of Jack's
life visitation will take place at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament (Percy
Street and Fourth Avenue) on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 10:15 a.m. followed
by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing may make memorial donations to the
ALS Society.
Leger and Phil Roy remember Jack as a friend during their posting to Havana Cuba. Jack was a communicator, courier and Admin Officer in External Affairs.
