BOGGS, Murray John (Major) On Friday July 8, 2005 after a courageous battle with
cancer, Murray John Boggs, at the age of 75, passed away peacefully and with
great dignity in the Saanich Peninsula Hospital, Saanichton B.C. Predeceased by
his first wife Josephine (Jo), sadly missed by his loving wife June. Father of
Murray, William and Phillip. Stepfather to Elaine & David. Grandfather of
Michael, Murray, Stephanie, Christopher, Marty, Cassandra, Natasha and Nicolas.
He will be missed by his sister Elizabeth and nieces and nephews. Murray was
with Foreign Affairs from 1954 1985 and traveled the world. The family wishes to
thank the doctors and nurses at the palliative care unit, Saanich Peninsula
Hospital, especially Dr. Terri Trottershaw and nurses Amy & Kelly for the
wonderful care they gave Murray. Following his wishes he was cremated privately
in Victoria and will be resting with us in Ontario. "When I come to the end
of the road, and the sun has set for me, I want no tears or gloom filled room...
Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but not too long, and not with
your head bowed low and remember the love we always shared, miss, but let me
go!"
