At West Lake Terrace Nursing Home, on Wednesday, September 7th, 2010, Marthe Rabbie, formerly of Wellington, Ottawa and Quebec City at the age of 79. Beloved wife of William. Loved mother of Geoffrey and his wife Marie of Edmonton, Alberta. Dear sister of Paul and his wife Colette, Robert and his wife Denyse Gagnon, Therese and her husband Gaston Moisan and the late Pierre Gagnon. Much loved grandmother to Caroline and Sophie. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at the Church of St. Gregory the Great, Picton, on Friday, September 10th at 11 a.m. Cremation. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer would be appreciated by the family. Peacefully at Quinte Health Care Belleville General Hospital, on Saturday, April 30th, 2011, WILLIAM WARING ‘BILL’ RABBIE, of Wellington, formerly of Ottawa and Bloomfield, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of the late Marthe (nee Gagnon). Loving father of Geoffrey and his wife Marie of Edmonton. Proud grandfather of Caroline and Sophie. Brother-in-law of Paul Gagnon, Therese Gagnon Moisan, Robert Gagnon and the late Pierre Gagnon all of Quebec. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. MR. RABBIE IS RESTING AT THE WHATTAM FUNERAL HOME, 33 MAIN STREET, PICTON, ON. The Funeral Service will be held at Bloomfield United Church on Wednesday, May 4th at 2:00 P.M. Reverend Lynn Watson Officiating. Cremation with private interment at Hicksite Cemetery, Bloomfield. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
